A tribute to PESCO DI IORIO (1,831 m asl), the highest refuge in the whole Abruzzo National Park caught in the middle of winter, on a cold, clear sunny day.

The olfactory image evoked by Pesco di Iorio room fragrance is that of a breathtaking panorama which embraces the territory of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park on a cold winter day, with a clear and serene sky. Nature seems to be asleep in the cold of winter but under the ice it remains alive and throbbing, preparing for spring. Walking at high altitude, on a snowy and silent path, you can perceive the scent of wet pine needles, of frozen resins. A pale sun is reflected in the white immensity, giving a clear sensation of lightness and vitality: the frozen air opens the throat with every breath, giving an energetic and revitalizing effect.
